How much does an outdoor sauna cost in the UK?

The base price

Our two standard models are priced as follows, supplied and installed:

• The Kemi (2–4 person, 2.0 × 2.2m): from £16,495
• The Koli (3–6 person, 3.0 × 2.2m): from £19,295

Neither price includes VAT. We're not VAT registered, so there's nothing to add. Both include vertical FSC sourced timber cladding in a natural finish, double glazed safety glass, and a thermo aspen interior with two-tier benches.

What adds to the base price

A handful of choices move the price up from there:

• Added bays: a shower or changing room adds one 1m bay from £4,800; both adds two bays for £10,175.
• Cladding finish: natural is included; black, wash, or full coat finishes are priced per model (from around £499 on the Kemi, more on the larger Koli).
• Heater: the Harvia Cilindro electric heater is from £789; the Harvia M3 wood-fired heater is from £1,800.
• Wi-Fi controller: £650, for remote heater control.
• Speakers: £260.

What's not included

Every quoted price excludes electrical connection to the house, foundations or base preparation, transport, and delivery. These vary too much by site to quote generically:

• Desktop survey: £195, the first step for any commission.
• Site appraisal: £525 for a sauna, £950 for a spa garden. This fee is credited against your final invoice if you proceed.
• Delivery: depends on distance and method (craned or flatpack), confirmed after your desktop survey.
• Foundations: a concrete slab, ground screws, or timber base, recommended during your site appraisal based on ground conditions.

A realistic total

For a Kemi with no added bays, an electric heater, and a natural finish, you're looking at roughly £17,000–£18,000 once the heater and a typical foundation are accounted for, before delivery. A Koli with a shower bay and wood-fired heater moves closer to £26,000–£28,000. Bespoke commissions (a fully custom layout, or a Kuusamo-scale build) are quoted individually once your desktop survey is complete.
