In Finland, the steam created by casting water onto hot stones is called löyly. It represents the vital element of the sauna, transferring heat directly to the skin.

The practice is built on a cycle of heat exposure followed by a cold plunge or cold air cooling. This contrast stimulates circulation, relaxes muscles, and encourages recovery. Taking time between cycles allows the heart rate to settle, returning the body to a state of balance.

Siberian Larch
Siberian Larch is a timber born of extreme climates. Facing freezing winter temperatures, the tree grows very slowly, resulting in exceptionally tight annual growth rings. This density gives the wood superior structural strength and natural resistance.
Argon Double Glazing
Our glazing consists of double-glazed, argon-filled safety glass panels held within deep, insulated thermo-wood frames. This construction minimizes heat escape and eliminates drafts.
Shou Sugi Ban Protection
Shou Sugi Ban charring alters the molecular structure of the wood surface. By carbonising the outer cellulose, we remove the nutrients that wood-boring insects and rot-causing fungi rely on to survive.
